There are three types of heated bedding available

Electric Heated Underblankets

An electric heated underblanket is most peoples idea of what an electric blanket is. It sits directly on the top of your mattress and is secured in position with ties that pass under your mattress. Your usual sheets etc. go on top of this and the heating element warms you and your bed. They come in a range of sizes and in several models.

Electric Heated Mattress Covers

These are a newer take on the underblanket. These work in exactly the same way but have an elasticated skirt around the edge and fit your mattress in the same way as a fitted sheet or mattress protector does.

Electric Heated Duvets

As the name suggests these look like a standard duvet but they have a heated element inside to keep you warm. You can use them all year round and just switch them on when it gets cold
