Waterproof & Dust Mite Proof Pillow Protector

Without a pillow protector your pillow will very quickly become marked and stained. This is simply because during the night we can perspire, dribble, sneeze, cry and even get a nose bleed. These will all stain an unprotected pillow.

Then there is the problem of dust mites. These tiny creatures live in all of our homes, they can very quickly colonise your pillow where they breed, feed, grow and die. Dust mites love pillows, in fact more than 10% of the weight of a 2 year old pillow is made up of dust mites, both dead and alive.

Dust Mites love pillows because they contain moisture from our perspiration and skin particles that we shed during the night.

If you fit one of these pillow protectors the moisture and skin particles cannot collect inside the pillow and dust mites and their waste products cannot reach you.

Thousands of microscopic mites in your pillow sounds bad enough, but many of us are allergic to the their waste products, these can cause coughing, sneezing, sore throats and runny eyes at night and are also known to be responsible for the onset of asthma and eczema in some children.

Don't take chances with dust mites when a simple pillow protector stops them in their tracks.

They are comfortable in use with a soft absorbent terry towelling outer surface and a soft, breathable, yet waterproof inner lining. They are virtually undetectable in use, they don't rustle and won't make you hot and uncomfortable.

To use, just place your pillow inside and fasten the zip. Put your usual pillowcase on afterwards.

They can be machine washed at temperatures up to 90c and tumble dried if required. You will wonder how you managed without them before.
